State tax refund status: where's my refund?
Pick your state to open its official revenue department page. All 50 states and DC are listed, and we recorded the date each link was checked.
No state income tax: Florida, Texas, Nevada, Washington, Wyoming, South Dakota and Alaska have none, and Tennessee and New Hampshire do not tax wages or earned income. Those cards link to the revenue department instead of a refund tool.
No state matches that search.

Questions and answers
Where do I check my state refund?
Use the official revenue department link for your state below. Most ask for your Social Security number or ITIN, your filing status and the exact refund amount from your return.
Why is there no tool for Florida, Texas and some other states?
Florida, Texas, Nevada, Washington, Wyoming, South Dakota and Alaska have no state income tax. Tennessee and New Hampshire do not tax wages or earned income. With no state income tax return there is no state wage refund to track, so we link the revenue department instead.
Is this the same as checking my federal refund?
No. State refunds come from your state and federal refunds come from the IRS. A state tool shows only your state refund.
How do I know these links are official?
Every link goes to a state government domain or the state's own revenue portal, and we recorded the date we checked each one. A few state sites block automated checks; those are marked below.
