What a basic return costs and what changes the price

A basic return starts at $99. That usually means W-2 income and the standard deduction. The price goes up when a return has more parts, such as self-employment income, rental property, crypto sales or several states.

Every agent at our office sets their own final fee, and you hear it before we start. The first review is free.

Florida has no state income tax

Florida does not tax personal income, so most Orlando residents file only a federal return. If you lived or worked in another state during the year, you may still owe that state a return, and we prepare that too.

New for recent tax years: tips and overtime

Federal law now allows a deduction for qualified tips and for qualified overtime pay for tax years 2025 through 2028, with limits and income phaseouts. If you work in restaurants, hospitality, delivery or a job with overtime, bring your pay stubs so we can check if you qualify.

Tax Preparation (Individuals): questions and answers

How much does tax preparation cost in Orlando?

At Tax & Crypto Resolutions, basic tax returns start at $99. The final price depends on your income types and forms. The first review is free, and you hear the price before any work starts.

How long does it take to file my taxes?

Most individual returns are done within 1 to 3 days once all documents are received. The IRS usually issues e-filed refunds within about 21 days.

Do I need to file a Florida state tax return?

No. Florida has no personal state income tax. You may still need a return for another state if you earned income there.

Can you file my taxes if I have W-2 and 1099 income?

Yes. We prepare returns with both W-2 wages and 1099 or self-employment income.

I have not filed my 2025 taxes yet. What now?

If you filed an extension, your 2025 return is due October 15, 2026. If you did not, file as soon as you can: the failure-to-file penalty grows every month. Call us and we can usually start right away.

When is the tax deadline for 2026 returns?

April 15, 2027 for most people. You can request an extension to file, but an extension does not extend the time to pay.

Do you speak Spanish or Haitian Creole?

Yes. Our team speaks English, Spanish and Haitian Creole.
